Sunday Sermon 21.10.12: Do not be influenced /Rev Joyce
1. Are you a person that is always influenced by others or a person that influence others ?
2. Influences are powerful. It affects every aspects of our lives and the blessings we received.
3. Adam and Eve are an example of being influenced by negative influences. Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit therefore, they are unable to live in the presence of God.
4. We are created with a nature of easily being influenced by others. Negative influences makes us lost our blessings, and most important of all, losing our faith in God.
5. How can we prevent ourselves being influenced? When you focus on man, problems and desires , they become an influence to you. The only way to stop us being influenced is to turn your eyes upon Jesus.
6. How can we influence others? Faith influences others. Let us reflect our faith , do you believe that God is in control of every circumstances whether good or bad? Two, do you believe that God will realize all his promises he has given to you?
7. My dear brothers and sisters, I pray that you will be an influence to others and do not be influenced by others !
