Sermon 18-03-2012 : The Good Samaritan
Sermon Of The Week : The Good Samaritan (Pastor Joyce Yong)
1. Jesus gave us the greatest command is to love God and love others like how you love yourself.
2. From the parable of the good Samaritan , we learn about the spiritual condition of a lost person and how to be a successful encourager.
3. When someone walks astray from the will of God, they are vulnerable to the attacks of the enemy , which stole God’s blessings for them and to make their life live in darkness.
4. The first step of being a successful encourager is to remove the condemnation or judging attitude. Don’t judge their actions.
5. Secondly, do not think to care for someone is a burden, thus reluctant to help others.
6. From the good Samaritan , sometimes God put people that we do not like beside us is for we to care for them. Don’t use what we had excess to care for them, put in your best.
7. Lastly, one that cares for others is cared by God.
